Greetings from Dallas!  We would like to let you know about an exciting development taking place here in your old training ground.  Parkland has a long reputation of building some of the best and most capable ER physicians in the country.  It is a unique group of individuals, bonded together through sweat and blood, that have survived “The Lands” as wave upon wave of an endless sea of the needy, sick, and dying crash down upon them.  To this group we stand in admiration and gratitude for paving the way of excellence before us.  To you, as a member of this prestigious group, we would like to offer an invitation to join the Dallas EM Foundation.

The Dallas EM Foundation is a nonprofit organization aimed at keeping the alumni of the UT Southwestern EM program connected.   By creating this network we all have so much to gain from the knowledge, experiences, opportunities, and resources that as a group we collectively share.  As a member you will have a login to our DallasEM.org website where you will have access to the latest journal club articles, the powerpoint lectures from our weekly conference and Grand Rounds, and contact information for the current classes.  There is a separate section being developed for the Foundation and alumni where contact information, photos, job opportunities, experiences, tricks of the trade and more will be collected and made available.

We are very excited at the potential this has for mutual benefit to past, present, and future classes of the Parkland UTSW EM Residency and hope you will join with us.  We have sent out e-mails to most of our alumni with login information but if you have not yet been contacted and would like to be a part of the group send us a message by clicking the Contact Us page on top and choose 'alumni' as the subject.  We hope you will join with us as we create the community of the Dallas EM Foundation.
