WEEK IN REVIEW:
Today marks the being of Block 7!  The academic theme for this block is Trauma.  We have many exciting educational activities planned (see schedule below).

Last week, we had an exceptional conference.  Dr. Molai led us in our bi-weekly reading group, reviewing board-relevant EMS and practice management information.  Dr. Wainscott then discussed some residency happenings for this upcoming spring.  In the 3rd hour of conference we held journal club.  Drs. Tran, Kern and McAllister presented several articles selected by our Grand Rounds speaker Dr. Kellerman.  Dr. Kellerman authored many of the selections and was present to discuss the material as our lead discussant.  Finally, conference, and the block 6 educational agenda, concluded with Grand Rounds.  Dr. Kellerman lectured on his work in healthcare at the national level.

• Please note that there is no conference scheduled for the weeks of Christmas and New Years

• December 14th & 17th: Interview dinners – check your email for details
• December 15th & 18th: Interview days – hangout and join the candidates for lunch
• December 16th @ 4-6p: Board review – Dr. Fowler will cover EMS and administration
• December 17th @ 8a-12p: Academic conference

• Future interview dates: January 5, 8, 12, 15, 22 (7a-2p) – recall dinners are always the evening prior to interview days
