EM Day of Service

As emergency physicians, residents, nurses, physician assistants, and medical students, we are servant leaders in our communities. We care and advocate for our patients while working clinically. We also respond to the call to give back to the communities we serve. The EM Day of Service was created with this essential concept in mind. The EM Day of Service is a specialty-driven event where emergency care providers identify community needs and volunteer to address those needs.

Our residents and faculty had a great time organizing and participating in this wonderful event, getting out and helping the community we serve every day.

Attention Prospective Residency Applicants!

UT Southwestern Medical Center is excited to start the 2015-2016 interview season. We want to have time to thoroughly review all available applications and make sure that we start that process after the Dean’s letters are released.

Our program, along with other County Hospital-based EM programs, has decided that we will start sending interview invitations on October 16th at 4:00 p.m. CST. This will allow most applicants to complete their rotation duties for the day, with minimal distractions to those services.

We are looking forward to reading your application and, hopefully, meeting you during one of our interview days!
