We were honored to host Dr. Jennifer Wiler, Associate Professor, Vice Chair, Department of Emergency Medicine, University of Colorado for Journal Club on 2/4 and Grand Rounds on 2/5.  Dr. Wiler spoke on health policy changes, and how emergency physicians can boost their payment.  Here were the articles we discussed at Journal Club:
  • Patient satisfaction surveys and quality of care: an information paper. Ann Emerg Med, 2014.  
  • The Strategy that will Fix Healthcare.  Harvard Business Review, 2013.
  • Topical tetracaine used for 24 hours is safe and rated highly effective by patients for the treatment of pain caused by corneal abrasions: a double-blind, randomized clinical trial. Acad Emerg Med, 2014.
